I have become much more aware of the beauty created by the rhythmic motions of the human body. Body movements which create shapes and colours that the eye cannot see. The body becomes the artists brush. Something as mundane as a figure walking across a bare floor has created this graceful image. An image that evokes feelings of lightness, confidence and of being freed from the cares of the world. Emily Carr, the Canadian artist and writer, described this as â€˜walking with your head high and your feet light.'
